Florida is all about nature! We want to continue that while you are visiting us! Our nature trails are meant to explore the beauty and outdoors that Florida represents. Take a walk around our fish-stocked pond, and maybe try your hand at fishing! Catch and Release only!

The fishing pond at Sweet Citrus Acres is stocked with a variety of fish, providing an ideal spot for anglers of all skill levels.

The nature trails wind around the private peaceful lake, making for a beautiful and peaceful walk.

Take a Stroll Around the Lake

While walking around our pond you will notice many sights and sounds of nature. From the beautiful birds that fly in and nest in the trees around the lake, to the blue herons walking slowly looking for their next lunch in the shallow edges of the lake, to the fish breaking the surface of the water looking for bugs, all the sights and sounds of the lake are serene and relaxing.

From Orlando

To travel from downtown Orlando to 3995 N Turkey Oak Drive in Crystal River, Florida, start on I-4 West toward Tampa. Continue on I-4 West and take exit 77 to merge onto Florida’s Turnpike toward Ocala. Stay on Florida’s Turnpike for about 20 miles, then take exit 307 for FL-44 toward Inverness/Wildwood. Turn left onto FL-44 West and continue for approximately 35 miles. Then, turn right onto US-41 North/US-98 North and follow it for about 10 miles. Turn left onto County Road 486 (W Norvell Bryant Hwy) and continue for about 5 miles. Next, turn right onto N Forest Ridge Blvd and continue for about 3 miles. Turn left onto W Norvell Bryant Hwy and continue for about 2 miles before turning right onto N Turkey Oak Dr. Continue on N Turkey Oak Dr for about 1 mile to reach your destination at 3995 N Turkey Oak Drive. 

From Tampa

Start your journey from Tampa by getting on I-275 North. Continue on I-275 North and then take exit 53 to merge onto I-75 North toward Ocala. Stay on I-75 North for about 55 miles. Take exit 329 for FL-44 toward Inverness/Wildwood and turn left onto FL-44 West. Continue on FL-44 West for about 20 miles. Turn right onto US-41 North/US-98 North and follow it for about 10 miles. Turn left onto County Road 486 (W Norvell Bryant Hwy) and continue for about 5 miles. Then, turn right onto N Forest Ridge Blvd and continue for about 3 miles. Continue on FL-484 West for about 18 miles. Turn left onto US-41 South/US-98 South and follow it for about 12 miles. Turn right onto W Norvell Bryant Hwy/County Rd 486 and continue for about 3 miles. Turn left onto N Turkey Oak Dr and continue for about 1 mile to reach your destination at 3995 N Turkey Oak Drive.
