Rules And Regulations

CHECK-IN – All guests are kindly requested to check in at the front office upon arrival. During check-in, you will receive your wristbands & car pass.

WRISTBANDS – Please be sure to wear your wristbands at all times on the property, which are required to enjoy full access to the property.

CHILDREN – During our designated family-friendly months, all children ages 17 & under must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian at all times while on the property. This policy is strictly enforced for the safety & enjoyment of all guests.

VISITORS / DAY GUEST PASS – nightly guests are $20 per person & daily guests using the amenities are $10 per day.

UTILITIES are all-inclusive including 30 & 50-amp electric, water, sewer, & Wi-Fi.

PETS – 2 pets are allowed per site. All pets must be registered with the front office. Up-to-date current vaccination records must be provided. Only Service animals are permitted in resort buildings. Pet fencing is allowed for pet pens only on hard surface, not on grass. Pets must be on a 6 ft leash & always attended. Please clean up after your pet. Pet stations are provided.

ALCOHOL – Sweet Citrus Acres is pleased to offer the convenience of a full-service bar located in our clubhouse. In accordance with Florida state law & our beverage license, outside alcohol & personal coolers are not permitted in the clubhouse or pool areas.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding & cooperation.

GOLF CARTS & BIKES – Automobiles & golf carts are to be operated by licensed drivers 18 & older. Golf carts, bicycles, & scooters must be equipped with lighting to operate after dark.

SPEED LIMIT – the speed limit throughout the resort is 15 mph.

SITE MAINTENANCE – All sites must be kept neat & clean of debris & uncluttered. No appliances are permitted on your site. Clothes lines are not permitted. Free standing shade structures may only be placed on hard surfaces. They may not be secured to the concrete. Sheds are not permitted on any site. Deck boxes are permitted with management approval. Trees, flowers, & shrubs on the property are the property of the resort & are not to be moved by guests. Planters & pots may be on your site’s hard surfaces. All planters must be removed upon departure. All waste must be properly disposed of into our sewer system. PVC piping is prohibited for sewer use.

TRASH – Trash must be bagged & placed inside dumpsters. Trash pick-up at your site is not an offered amenity.

FIRE PITS/GRILLS – Only off-the-ground, self-contained propane fire pits are permitted. Wood fires are strictly prohibited at sites. Propane fire pits and grills may be used only on the hard surfaces of your site.

RECEIVING MAIL – If you stay with us temporarily, we suggest that you do a Temporary Forward through your post office, not a change of address. All mail is received in the main office where you may pick it up in the afternoons. Please include your site # on your packages.

PARKING – Parking is not permitted on the grass area of your site.

GENERATORS – Continuous use of generators is only permitted during an unexpected power outage.

LAUNDRY & BATH HOUSES – We have a clean and well-maintained laundry facility near the front of the resort, which also includes a bath house (both are open 24/7). We have an additional bathhouse at the pool area, behind the clubhouse (open 7am-10pm daily)

RV REQUIREMENTS – We are a travel trailer, 5th wheel, or motorhome – (A, B, or C) resort only. We do not allow tents, pop-up campers, or truck campers. RVs must be 10 years or newer. If not, a picture of all four sides must be made available before a reservation is taken. All reservations are subject to site change. No refunds or credits for early departures. All vehicles, RVs, & golf carts & trailers must be registered & insured while on property.

LIABILITY – While Sweet Citrus Acres RV Resort staff regularly monitors the property for safety & security, the Resort is not responsible for: Theft of RVs or any contents therein; Damage resulting from natural causes (e.g., falling trees); Spoilage of food in refrigerators or freezers due to power outages, etc. All Activities are done at your own risk. Sweet Citrus Acres RV Resort assumes no liability for Personal injury to guests or their visitors; Loss, theft, or damage to money, valuables, or personal property. By staying at or visiting Sweet Citrus Acres RV Resort, you acknowledge & accept these terms.

DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR – If law enforcement is called due to disruptive behavior — whether by another guest or by resort management — the involved guest(s) may be required to vacate the resort immediately, regardless of whether they are annual, seasonal, or daily guests. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
Please be respectful & avoid creating situations that require intervention.

RIGHT OF REFUSAL – Sweet Citrus Acres RV Resort reserves the right to refuse service to any individual who fails to comply with resort rules & regulations. Management also reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify rules & regulations at any time in order to ensure the safety & well-being of all guests. As a privately owned facility, we further reserve the right to deny access to any individual or group at our discretion.

THINGS WE SHOULDN’T HAVE TO SAY –
*Our spring-fed lake is for catch & release fishing only. Swimming in our lake is prohibited. Please be cautious of alligators & snakes.
*Please do not cut through other guests’ sites while walking.
*Subletting of sites or units is prohibited.
*Please pick up your dog poop.
*NO Glass in the pool areas including the pool deck.
*While we try our best to keep this information up-to-date, these policies are always subject to change without notice. We believe that abiding by the above rules will provide all guests with a safe & enjoyable stay. Thank you.
